Camping at the Beach...

This summer we spent a few days soaking up the rays at the beach.

The kids spent a lot of time digging this hole.

Especially Kira.

4th of July...

Our good friend Chris treated us to tickets to the Firework show. She was in the band.

I loved this. A firefighter, on top of a ladder, with an american flag.

There were several parachuters. The last one had the American Flag. I was impressed that when he landed, someone was there to catch the flag so it wouldn't touch the ground.

This plane was HUGE, and it did a fly over.

Before the evening, we spent our day at my dad's swimming, and bbq.

The Fair

Josh and Andrew wanted to see the big pigs all day. They both chose the same pig out of hundreds to get there picture in front of.

If you look behind the my head in this picture, you'll see Caitlyn, Kira, and Ryan on the ride.

Field Trip...

I got to go with Kira on her field trip today to the Children's Discovery Museum.

It was fun filled day of hands on adventures. This was the chair pull. They wanted to do boys against girls. You go Kira!

The whellchair race was one of my groups favorites.

The pizzeria was my groups number one favorite of the day...

including mine. We talked with fake Italian accents, and had a pizza food fight.

The grocery store.

Dress up.

This was cool too. They have kids paint it with a different color each day. Today was orange. They scrape off the paint each year, and it is about an inch thick. Any guesses as to the original color of this car?

Arts and crafts.

The pet adoption store. In the far back right side of this picture you can see the tube thing that they put together and roll balls through. What a fantastic day!!!

I thought the colors of this place were fun!

Family came to town...

Unfortunately it was to celebrate the life of my Pa who passed away. He was very special to me. It was him who baptized me and confirmed me a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He will always hold a special place in my heart.
